Single Step Protein Staining Solution

Instructions for Use
WARNING: wearing gloves is highly recommended when handling SDS-PAGE and Fast SeeBand staining solution.
CAUTION: Use caution while using the stain in a microwave oven. Do not overheat the staining
solutions.
IMPORTANT: This protocol is adjusted for 8 x 10 cm mini gel 1.4 mm thick.
1. After electrophoresis, cut the stacking gel.
2. Put the gel in a container and add 25 ml of Fast SeeBand.
3. Shake the gel on an orbital shaker for 15 minutes.
Optionally: microwave on High Power for 30 seconds and shake 5 min.
Note: Stain intensity reaches a maximum within approximately 1 hour.
Gels may be stained overnight without increased background.
4. Washing the gel with water can enhances staining sensitivity and increase staining over background.
Note: After using Fast SeeBand protein staining solution, close tightly the cap.
Do not freeze.
